Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School has announced the appointment of a new head football coach.

The Hurricanes have named former NFL safety and IMG Academy assistant coach Ken Stills as their new head coach, athletic director Rex Desvaristes announced Thursday afternoon.

Stills, the father of former University of Oklahoma and current Houston Texans’ wide receiver Kenny Stills, spent time in the National Football League from 1985 to 1990 with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.

Ken Stills, who played his college ball at Wisconsin, was selected in the eighth round and notched seven interceptions during his time in the NFL.
